Bloom Women’s Health is proud to recognize Lenise Peterman, Mayor of Helper, as our April Woman Who Blooms.
Lenise is passionate about strengthening the communities of Carbon County. With a background in psychology and sociology, she brings insight and determination to her role in public service.
Lenise has played an important role in transforming Helper throughout her (now third) term as mayor. Specifica
lly, she’s got a talent for writing grants and has secured nearly $15 million in funding to support infrastructure improvements, public safety, road maintenance, recreation, beautification efforts, river restoration, and the preservation of historic buildings.
Her commitment goes beyond projects, however, it’s rooted in creating a sustainable, thriving future for the entire community, especially for local children and youth.
Lenise’s leadership continues to shape a stronger, more vibrant Helper, and we are honored to celebrate her as a woman who truly helps our community bloom.
